If you’re in the 12–24 handicap range of golfers, then we think we could take 10 shots off your scorecard with a better short game – and we want to prove it.
In your next round, keep a second scorecard. On any hole where you find yourself at a distance from 100 down to 50 yards, keep a separate scorecard to keep track of how many strokes it takes you to hole out from that distance. At the end of the round, total your scores for these holes and divide by the number of holes this happened. What was your average?
